This set gives you a glimpse into the history of the talk box as a musical instrument. Originally used as an effects device to distort guitars, it was used more and more to distort voices over the years until Roger Troutman turned it into a business model and used it as his main instrument and made this his trademark. Here you can listen to songs that have used a talkbox. Starting with songs from the last few years up to funky tracks from earlier times up to 1969. For example in jazz by Herbie Hancock and classic rock music with Stealy Dan and Mud. As always, the show is only a small glimpse, otherwise it would go beyond all time limits.
